New to the forum and Rec Teq grills. Just purchased my first one, Patio Legend 410. I still need to unbox and assemble. Wx will not cooperate. I have been using a PitBoss Cooperhead 3 for smoking for several years and now moving into the grill/smoke side of things. After much research, I decide on this one as it meets all my needs so far.

Thank you Mike, I see you did the wheel mod. Do you think it would work on the patio Legend?

@preimann welcome! You may not need to deal with a wheel mod as I believe all of the newer models already redesigned the wheels. The older grills had glorified roller skate wheels that were fine as long as you never moved your grill.

I finally put the grill together and yes the wheels and support have been upgraded. Had a curved drip pan and customer service sent a replacement. Awesome customer service, i am very pleased so far. Can't wait to make my first cook on it.

I’ve got an older RT-700 but have thoroughly enjoyed it.
