CINNABON CINNAMON ROLL-INSPIRED CAKE

PREP TIME 25 MIN - TOTAL 50 MIN SERVES 12​



3 cups, plus 2 Tbsp, flour

1 cup sugar

4 tsp. baking powder

¼ tsp. salt

1 ½ cups plus 2 tbsp. milk

1 ¼ cups butter melted

2 eggs

3 tsp. vanilla extract

1 cup butter softened

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 tbsp. cinnamon

1 cup powdered sugar


1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9xl3-inch baking pan. Stir together 3 cups flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until well combined. In another bowl, whisk together V/2 cups milk, melted butter, eggs, and 2 tsp. vanilla. Stir milk mixture into flour mixture until combined. Pour into prepared pan.

2. Beat together softened butter, brown sugar, remaining 2 Tbsp, flour, and cinnamon in a bowl until smooth. Drop by spoonfuls over batter in pan. Swirl mixture into batter with a knife to create a marbled effect.

3. Bake until a toothpick inserted into center comes out nearly clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Meanwhile, whisk together powdered sugar, remaining 2 Tbsp. milk, and remaining 1 tsp. vanilla in a bowl until smooth. Drizzle over warm cake.

A couple of questions.

Step 1: Milk addition shows V/2 Is that 1-1/2 ?
Step 2: "remaining 2 tablespoons" Is this milk ?

Just want to be clear before I give this a whirl.
